Temporary installations are installations meant for short term wear with daily removal or occasional use. With a semi-permanent installation, you will be able to engage in your everyday activities, without worry that your piece will need to be removed before hand. Sleeping, showering, swimming and other physical activities can all be done without concern.

For male and female hairpieces, the type of temporary installation will be determined by the kind of hair loss you have and how extreme it is. If you have enough of your own hair to support a foundation for attachment, then clip-ins are a great method for temporary use. As shown below, clips can be added to either male or female hairpieces, or wefts for hair extensions. This method is ideal for one-day events like travel and weddings, and will give exactly the same look as semi-permanent installations. The largest difference is that it is not as secure as semi-permanent installations, for continued daily use.
